苕溪眼蝇，节肢动物门-昆虫纲-双翅目-眼蝇科。♀. Body length 14 mm.Head. Vertex, frons, antennal prominence and occiput redish orange. Face and rest of lower part of the head golden yellow. The colour of the frons and face is sharply deliminated at the level of the antennae, when viewed from above, at which point without any black spot. Mouth cavity redish orange with a black spot on the c1eypeous. Proboscis 1.1/4 times of head, brownish orange except its basal half and the labella tinged with brownish black. Antennae blackish brown except the third joint tinged with brownish red. The first joint three times as long as width. The second joint two and half times longer than the first length. The above two joints covered with short hairs. The third joint brownish red except the stylet tinged with black, covered with whitish dust, a little shorter than the second joint.
