故事改编自话剧《伪君子》并加以时代感创新。讲述伪装成圣洁的教会叫花子达尔杜弗混进商人奥尔贡家中，图谋勾引其妻子并夺取其家财，导致奥尔贡家中人心惶惶。
脾气暴躁的大少爷，甜美可人的大小姐，意气风发的贵公子，沉着冷静的女执事，学识渊博却又婆婆妈妈的舅爷，正直善良又万分固执的老爷，坚忍聪慧的夫人，尖酸刻薄的婆婆，他们又会如何为达尔杜弗站队，又将面临怎样的困境？围绕着这位骗术并不高明的欺诈师，一场场闹剧接二连三上演，然而结局却出人意料……《了不起的达尔杜弗》将会从不同于以往的角度来重新诠释这个经典故事，架空时代，解放大脑，用强烈的摇滚乐和极富力量感的歌舞大闹一场。
在风格化的舞台上，无限放大那个无恶不作的达尔杜弗-而最真实的邪恶背后，究竟谁才是真正的“伪君子”呢？你从来没见过的莫里哀，你从来不敢想的伪君子。无恶不作，哭笑不得。
This work is adapted from the classical comedy ——Le Tartuffe written by Moliere. We will employ a brand new way of interpreting to depict a hypocrisy Tartuffe with his extremely bad inner quality. You are promised to have a vivid understanding on the characters in this drama, such as the bad-tempered playboy, the sweet daughter, the high-spirit noble stripling, the inexcitable deaconess and so on. How would they decide to position themselves in this Tartuffe situation? What can they do and what will they do? An unthinkable dilemma is waiting for them. Around the shoddy liar, one farce comes on show after another, while the ending would appear unexpected and somewhat surprising.
This well-known story will be told in a way that is more rocking and free-minded, and is also stylistically enhanced with a different time setting and Flamenco Dance. It will be a Moliere we’ve never encountered.
