马蒂亚斯·弗莱姆尼，指挥
马蒂亚斯·弗莱姆尼出生于德国明斯特，在代特莫尔德和维也纳的音乐学院学习指挥。1995年，他在"布拉格之春"国际指挥比赛中折桂。在指挥比赛取得成功之后，弗莱姆尼紧接着与柏林德意志交响乐团首次合作演出。他在柏林喜歌剧院指挥作曲家利盖蒂的歌剧《末日启示》，开启了他在歌剧院的指挥生涯，弗莱姆尼也开始收到执棒音乐会的邀约。《末日启示》吸引了来自世界范围内的关注，并获得德国权威奖项"巴伐利亚剧院奖"。

Matthias Foremny，conductor
Born in Munster, Matthias Foremny studied conducting at the Colleges of Music in Detmold and Vienna. In 1995 he was awarded with the first prize at the international competition ‘Prague Spring'. This success was followed by a sensational debut with the ‘Deutsches Sinfonieorchester Berlin'. His career in the opera house as well as on the concert platform started at the "Komische Oper" Berlin for whom he has conducted Ligeti‘s ‘Le grand Macabre'. The production attracted worldwide attention and was awarded with the important German award ‘Bayerischer Theaterpreis'.
In 2002 he became first prizewinner of the renowned German Conducting Competition of the ‘Deutscher Musikrat'. From 2003 to 2012 he was General Music Director and Opera Director at the Statetheatre of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania in Schwerin. His engagements include strong relationships to the "Deutsche Oper" in Berlin, the Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra Helsinki. Recently he has worked with the Semper Opera Dresden, the MDR Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin, with whom he made his first recording for the label "Capriccio". His recording of A. Ponchiellis brass concertos received an Echo classic award in 2012.
2012 Foremny celebrated his very successful debuts at the NDR Radio Symphony Orchestra Hamburg, the Gewandhausorchestra in Leipzig and at the Hamburg State opera. He was reengaged in each case.
Upcoming engagements include debuts with the Warschau Philharmonic Orchestra, the Zurich Chamber and the Orchestra and NDR-Radio-Philharmonie Hannover.
His operatic work in the season 2012/2013 included a new production of Rigoletto, Macbeth, Schlaues Füchslein, Eugen Onegin, La Boheme and Rienzi (Gewandhausorchester Leipzig) as well as a return to the "Deutsche Oper" Berlin and the State opera Hamburg with Verdi's ‘La Traviata' and Puccini's ‘La Boheme'.
Since the beginning of the current season 2013/14 Matthias Foremny is chief conductor of the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra.

Meesun Hong Coleman's musical life is one that could be described as well-rounded in all senses: She presently splits her time as concertmaster and chamber musician, after first receiving a Bachelor's degree in composition at Princeton, then studying violin performance at Juilliard and in Berlin, playing all of the major operas in her first job at the Zurich Opera House, performing for a decade in the Merel String Quartet, leading the Camerata Bern as both concertmaster and principal 2nd, and in the last few years, leading several of the major chamber orchestras and playing in most of the major chamber music festivals in Europe- and, on both modern and period instruments. Praised by the Wall Street Journal as being "strong and hot," American violinist Meesun Hong Coleman is the newly appointed concertmaster of the Kammerakademie Potsdam. She performs with the ensemble as leader, director, and chamber musician. She has guest lead and subsequently been invited back to the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Kammerorchester Basel, Munich Chamber Orchestra, and Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, and Camerata Bern, among others. She is also a regular guest with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, and Cappella Andrea Barca.In addiition to being a sought after concertmaster, Ms. Hong Coleman is an avid chamber musician and has followed invitations to the Salzburg, Luzern, Gstaad, Schleswig Holstein, and Weimar Festivals, Ittingen Pfinsgtkonzerte, IMS Prussia Cove, and the Aix-en-Provence Festival. She has performed for Bernard Haitink and Bill Clinton, and in constellations with Heinz Holliger, Erich Höbarth, Antje Weithaas, Benjamin Schmid, Nobuko Imai, Jörg Widmann, Dénes Várjon, and Patrick and Thomas Demenga, among others. Degrees include a Bachelor's in Composition from Princeton and a Master's from Juilliard. In addition, she was the recipient of the prestigious Fulbright grant to study in Berlin and a Whoolley Grant in Paris. Her teachers have included Robert Mann, Donald Weilerstein, Dorothy Delay, Thomas Brandis, and Ferenc Rados.On Baroque violin she recently performed duo concerti with Enrico Onofri as well as Amandine Beyer, as leader and soloist with Reinhard Goebel and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and as leader and soloist on an internationally broadcast performance of the Christmas Oratorio with the Kammerorchester Basel.Ms. Hong Coleman lives in Berlin with her husband and daughter and plays a violin made in 1700 by Matteo Goffriller.

Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra
Founded by Karl Münchinger in 1945, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra has held a prominent position in the international orchestral world for some seven decades. Dennis Russell Davies, who was principal conductor from 1995 to 2006, re‐defined the orchestra's artistic priorities to enhance the orchestra's versatility. After Michael Hofstetter, the internationally renowned specialist for authentic performing practice, the young conductor Matthias Foremny took over the chief conductorship of the orchestra from beginning of the 2013‐14 season.
Innumerable concert performances around the globe and participation in the top international music festivals have been the hallmark of the high quality and the outstanding reputation of the ensemble. Kolja Blacher, Leon Fleisher, Daniel Hope, Paul Meyer, Renaud Capuçon and Steven Isserlis have all directed concerts with the orchestra. In recent years the orchestra has played with, among others, Julia Fischer, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Fazil Say, Daniel Müller‐Schott, Lars Vogt, Ian Bostridge, François Leleux, Xavier de Maistre, Emmanuel Pahud, Martin Fröst and Gautier Capuçon. In past seasons guest conductors have included Christoph Poppen, Pablo Gonzalez, Ariel Zuckermann, Wolfram Christ and Günter Pichler.
The Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra fulfills its function as regional ambassador with regular worldwide concert tours. After concerts in South Korea, Russia, Spain, Nepal, China and Japan in the last years, the orchestra has also made recent appearances in France, Spain, India and South America. Great importance is given by the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra to its engagement with local educational institutions. Besides frequent collaboration with the Stuttgart "Hochschule für Musik", the orchestra is involved in educational projects with primary school children and young people with impaired vision.
For its exceptional achievements, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra was awarded the 2008 European Chamber Music Prize by the European Cultural Foundation.
